Well, I took my long awaited cruise to Havana, Cuba! I was excited to be among the many on the cruise line who always dreamt of going there. Some of the objects that stand out when you're touring the city are the people, buildings, and cars. The people are friendly and approach you quickly in the Plaza to talk to you. Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing for some tourists, but the people there will ask for money from tourists. I found it interesting that there are some men who may serenade you, or some women dressed in costumes may want you to take their picture with you for money. The streets are busy with many colorful classic cars, old buses, horses with carriages, and some policemen directing traffic. There are many people walking the streets going to work, young students going to school, and others just going about their business. I loved the balconies of the buildings where you can see many with laundry, so pastimes to see this. All in all, the country is beautiful with many sights, museums, and beaches to see. You can not see it all on one trip. Better make it a week's vacation if you plan to visit Cuba!
