My Highlight This Month

What a fun card I did this month in July! I have a friend that wanted to surprise her hubby with a 40th Anniversary card. She wanted me to be creative, that which I am, but she also wanted me to put some special touches to the card. Every time I make a custom design card I get a little nervous because I really want the customer to be very happy with the design. So, I was very careful to listen to the things that were important to her with the design. As taken from my Instagram account, ..."She said that he was into biking and that she was into yoga." I usually sit down and grab my pencil for ideas. I found in the internet that there was a bike race a couple of years ago where the race was going to be cancelled due to rain. A bicyclist just got out of his bike and began to pray for the rain to stop. Someone seeing him took a picture and that photo was my inspiration. I said, what a great idea because she, too, was into yoga. The rest was easy. I just had to design her next to him doing the same. I loved the design. She loved the design. He loved the design and all my Instagram followers as well. Edna & Robert, Happy Anniversary!
